Christer Sjödoff 's interview in Marine Biz Tv - Part 1

Mr Christer Sjödoff was appointed as Group Vice President for GAC Solutions
in January 2007. Based in the corporate head office in Dubai, he is
responsible for the conception and development of GAC Solutions -- the GAC
Group's fourth and newest business area, designed to meet the needs of the
international maritime community through strategic tie-ups that marry GAC's
capabilities in shipping, logistics and marine with the specialist services of its
partners. Prior to his move to Dubai in January 2009 to focus on the fast
growing GAC Solutions business area, Mr Sjödoff was also the Regional
Director for Asia Pacific and Indian Subcontinent, a position which he has
held since 2002. Under his 7-year leadership, the performance of this diverse
region has grown by over 40% in terms of operating income.

Mr Sjödoff has more than 25 years of experience in the shipping, logistics and
marine industries. Having been with the GAC Group since 1993, he has
previously held positions in management and operations for GAC in Qatar
and Singapore.

He has an academic background in economics, and is married with one son
and two daughters.
