  • Hey, kids. Why don't stop with the pissing contest. Unlimited Bladeworks is called such because as long as Archer can maintain the reality marble, he can have access to literally limitless numbers of blades. It is not the act of creating swords, its the act of materializing his mind. It would stand to reason that as long as he has the strength to keep the "attack" going, he would have no trouble creating any blade at any time during the attack.

  • Lastly let's not fill the comment section up with the crappy opinionated things about this anime and extraneous things such as ...hahaha...Devil May Cry? Dunno how that ever got to be brought about. Afterall this "video" here on "Youtube": "a video sharing website", might i remind you all conflicters that it is meant for the fans of this badass music from the Fate/ Series. If you want to argue go to your wiki forums shit to do that. This is meant for comments toward the following music above.

When this Music starts to play, you know you made a b~aaad Mistake

about Who to choose as your Opponent in the holy Grail War!

  • @armi999 Although let me add that Archer's plan was extremely reckless.

At worst, killing Shirou may have resulted in the destruction of the universe.

Also we had pointers that showed that Archer's theory was far from wrong. The mere fact Shirou was battling with his alternate self formed a strange link between them and allowed Shirou to peek within Archer's memory. They shared a link. So by using the said link it was possible that by killing Shirou Archer may have ensured his own death too.

  • @armi999 Archer was well aware of that.

His "plan" was more like an insane gamble. Archer wanted to create a paradox where Shirou is killed by "himself" thus generating a rift in time-space. Archer hoped that the said rift would be strong enough to erase the existence of every Shirou in all the parallel worlds, thus erasing himself as well.

That's why Archer wanted to kill Shirou himself. Because otherwise there's no chance for that paradox to happen.

  • I listen to this theme when I cook.

  • @zudbard That would be the world [a contract being made] i think. Not the grail. If Archer killed his younger self, then he ceases to exist because there is no Shirou to follow the path of being a heroic spirit.

  • @armi999 I thought by killing Shirou, he ceases to be Archer in any given time line since it creates a ripple through the space and time continuum effecting any other alternate Shirou. That is what a paradox isn't it?? o.O.

  • So... like Saber, Archer already pledged his existance to the Grail. So if he erases his legacy, his present him would still exist right? Its just that his younger self would be "saved" from the torment he would face in the future.

  • @armi999 That means that even if Shirou had been killed by Archer, Archer wouldn't be affected. It also means that Shirou doesn't have to become Archer because a Shirou in another timeline already did. But, if Archer found the right alternate universe and killed the Shirou that became him, then the time paradox should erase his existence even though he exists outside the timeline. This is more complicated than I thought it was

  • @Inuyashagirl234 If I recall correctly all endings of all type moon games happen in alternate universes, so essentially they can do what ever they want and not affect timelines. Especially when it comes to things like heroic spirits who are already removed from the time lines.
