»Quick Translation»
Many words in this song are Latin words. With the knowledge of these words it can make the song more meaningful. So here is a short definition of these words. If they are incorrect please let me know so I can change them.
Animae - breath, life, soul
Homines - man, men (not 100% sure)
Partus - to bear, bring forth, produce, create, make, get

  • What is Homines Partus?

  • In Latin, partus means to create or produce and homines I am unsure of its actual meaning but I think it could mean man or men. So Homines Partus could mean to create man which seems fitting for this song.

  • "Birth of men."

  • Thank you, I figured it meant something like that but I was unsure of its exact meaning.

  • absolutely the best song in the album , and my favourite song of pos =)

  • I have to agree with you on that one.

  • @DirtyFreaks google translator says 'delivery men' ;D

  • @Bradatimrkonja a što ćeš, mi Hrvati se uvijek nađemo u raspravama o latinskom jeziku... pozz :D

  • @facaabc4 Will accept the Men of birth theory, fellow latin speaker ;D. I nemrem vjerovat da pricam s Hrvatom(mozda Srbom il Bosnjakom, nezz kolko padeza imaju) :D.

  • @Bradatimrkonja yes, you are correct with that (I was tired, sorry :D) but still I think this isn't just a mistake in the title... I would translate it as "Men of birth", as it is partus, us, m. --> birth, a bearing... so I guess it's something like that... or it could be also be a participle of pario, 3. peperi, partum... but I guess it should stand "Homines Parti" then... and don't worry, my primary language isn't English, in fact, it has 7 cases...

  • @facaabc4 Hominum is genitive plural form of Homo, hominis, m., is it not? Homines Partus might translate to Birth of men, but it's gramatically incorrect in the latin language. To them (Romans) it would mean Men birth, and that just makes no sense. It's difficult to comprehend if your primary language is english cause it doesn't have any cases at all(latin has 6).

  • @Bradatimrkonja no, Hominum Partus would be "birth of man", this is in plural, so it is "Homines Partus", cos it's homo, inis,m.

  • Should be Hominum Partus

  • This quality is unlistenable. Amazing song nonetheless.

  • @IWillSexU I like Martus Nauticus II the best :]

  • @Destroyer185 i think the whole BE album is amazing. everything fits and everything works with the general theme of the album
