I was "cast", if that's the word, at the age of 56 by the extras director in the Hong Kong University scene as an older British professor with a much younger lady, walking past Tang Wei and Lee Hom. Get over it. Older men who retain their looks and money attract younger women. I retained my looks, but you can probably infer that if I was an extra I did not have any money.

A good movie except for the unnecessary graphic sex scenes between a man who is only 2 years younger than my father and a woman who is my age.

I can do without seeing his middle aged butt. I don't understand why HK movies keep on promoting this pedaphillic theme by casting "leading men" in their 40;s 50's with actresses half their age.

This is a really wonderful movie! It catches also really good the atmosphere of the 30ties and 40ties. Where things where more relaxed and not just most films today action orgies. This movie I would put on the same level as the movie John Rabe. Both play in almost the same region at almost the same time. I hope more movies of this type come to Europe!
