  • What a brave girl! I was diagnosed 3/1/2004 and my life has been different ever since. I'm 18 and have gotten an insulin pump, which has helped a lot, but I struggle still! I cried when you went from that series of good blood sugars to 500's and 30's, those physically and emotionally draining times! I hate this disease for myself, but even more for my parents. Abbie is amazing and even though I'm older, I look up to her so much! Let's find a cure! I would love to hear from you too!

  • heyy

and ok thankyou! i dont live in america so i wouldnt know!

  • A year and 10 days later...January 17, 2008 our daughter was diagnosed. Thank you for sharing...although it's unbearable to believe anyone actually lives like this, sharing your experience makes it a little easier for those just going through it...

  • Whoa! For once in my whole life, I've found other people who spell their name like I do! Abbie! :D

  • aww i cried..:(

and...shes so brave. I could never get through that. God bless her.

  • What a brave little girl

I was diagnosed at 18 with type 1, so I cannot imagine was it must be like spending a childhood with finger pokes.

  • My name is Abbie.
