This is a crude video of gas bubbling out of Taylor Lake near The Dalles, Oregon. It is noteworthy that this small town is the home to 2 "Federal Superfund Clean-up Sites" and the first Bio-terrorist attack in the USA. This is an uncut video so you can see that there hasn't been any video hanky panky. This appears to be an odorless(?) gas that is coming out of the lake at various locations. Many rumors have circulated about this phenomenon, but still no answers. Some have speculated government involvement; you be the judge.

  • you dumb fucks, those are aerators that circulate and add air for the fish to survive!

where would gas's come from, and dont you think they'd use the river to dump toxic waste instead of someones fishing hole?!

  • What was the bioterrorist attack?

  • Y'all are lucky in the fact that you still have fish. In our State there are none - there is a "fish" advisory out for the entire State - it is all contaminated. All that's left are pretty much catfish and some Asian carp. Funny, because unless you really delved into the State's fish & game website, ya really woudn't know about it. Thanks to DuPont pretty much the entire Ohio River down to the Mississippi is polluted where there's not much left in it, life wise.

  • We finally have to understand that ALL natural gas and oil ist a-biotic!

Methane comes out everywhere on the earth - just more or less. Here it is more.

Look to wikipedia asphalt vulcano and google a-biotic oil.

Deepwater Horizon has drilled up to 33.000 feet! And found oil! That's way below all sedimentary rock in pure bed rock like granite!

(Oil) energy never will end! And if we do not use it, it will be transformed naturally to CO2! And thishas never been a problem to the climate!

  • Methane rising?

  • The real conspiracy is the governement dumps all this money to enhance fishing opportunities, but you can't drive there without tearing up you vehicle. What a shame, they should just fill the swimming pool with clean water and let the kids fish there. Fishing is great but wasting money is sad. Bubbles or no bubbles why spend money for something that can't reach the targeted audience.

  • A plague? LOL I crack myself up some times. p l a q u e. *chuckle* This is a great video to start a debate on. Thank for posting something local!!! yay!

  • ROFLMAO.. You two are a riot. Surely, in your "investigation into the gases" you might have turned around, walked about 60 feet West and discovered that little out-building hidden in the trees behind you with a plague attached to the outside telling you it's a restorative effort for the lake. LOL CONSPIRACY ABOUNDS! And yes, the fishing IS good at Taylor Lake! I've fished there a few years. '-)

  • Great video...Had no idea there was so much going on in The Dalles!!! I'll have to get down to Taylor Lake and check it out...I will say that the fishing is suppose to be really good there...Maybe the reason for the fishing being good has to do with the mysterious gases being released???

  • This is Kathy from The Dalles Chronicle. I'm doing an answer story to your video on Taylor Lakes and would like to do a brief interview with you. Do you have a way that I can contact you, or you can call me at the Chronicle office (541) 296-2141.
