  • I'm sure its been said, but since I don't see it...All you have to do is lift up on the slide release while pushing out the pin and it comes out with a gentle push. If you have to hammer on it like that, theres something blocking the pin and you might damage it or the slide release.

  • @camarogod93 Every gun is different when it comes to this. Just because the pin guns right out on one Glock doesn't mean it will on another. The pin was just exceptionally tight. There was nothing blocking the pin and no damage was done to the gun.

  • thanks for the vid! should work the same for the 21 model right(.45 acp)?

  • @user43212341 yep, all glocks function the same

  • does it matter in which way the pin goes back into the glock frame?

i saw some videos going from right to left.

but i put mine in from left to right.

  • @gabebokmaUSMC generally, the rule of thumb is to install it in the same direction you removed it in. so if you push it in left to right, reinstall it from left to right. But no, it doesn't matter which way you take it out.

  • I've been a certified Glock armorer for many years and I've never had to hammer any of the parts/pins in or out. Using the Glock tools does work better than a hammer. Some Glock pins are directional because of springs that can be damaged if you try to replace the pin in the wrong direction.

  • @allrequiredfields he's southern. what youuuuuuu expact

  • @krazyk86cu True. All are different. But if I lift the slide release on either of my glocks that pin comes out without a hammer.

  • thanks for the vid... and don't worry bout the guy making the voice comment... if you look on his channel you not the first (apparently he has a problem with voices)... and only video favourited is one of of underage girls dancing... so don't think he's one that should talk...

... anyways, thanks for making helpful vids =)

  • Thanks for the vid. Although that other guy is right, all you have to do is wiggle the slide release and the pin requires little to no pressure to remove.
