well I once was in your shoes with mediacom and it sucked till I got directv and life got better until I had problems and wanted to switch to another provider and directv offered me a ton of shit to get me to stay....so I would have to say switch man to directv!!! they are also cheaper unless your getting all the movie channels but wayyy better than cable!!

I'm watching this video from my phone since my INTERNET KEEPS GOING DOWN. How pathetic is it that my phone is more reliable for internet than my computer is because of Comcast's shit internet?

@LauraDeBunbury Its a whole big diffrence than when you just call in to fix a problem. Just like the security team.

@LauraDeBunbury actually im not speaking about supervisors. Comcast has many departments which regular people don't know about and one of them is called elevated support. Comcast employees get like two cards every 6 months that they can give for elevated support.

on another note, man, comcast's never gonna watch the video, sad but true, i work for them and they don't really care about you guys customers (though i think you already know)
and I think you issue may get solved by powering cycle the box lol (not trying to make fun of you, just saying, don't take my comments on the wrong side, i know comcast sucks ass)

bout 1,000 feet between us and mine are all fine but then we have all comcast motorola DVR boxes here too.

My work has a bunch of Verizon 4G air cards and they spank the heck out of Comcast as far as speed goes. And Laura, that day they were having (another) widespread issue. I went through the whole level 0-1 script with the "Peggy" sounding tech support person that I couldn't hardly understand lol! We repowered the box etc, to no avail. It ended being on their end somewhere :)
