I appreciate that you are much calmer and more rational than Shade, even though I don't agree with you I can respect you since you present your case in an intelligent manner and you are not just fear mongering. I don't think you or anyone else should try to police an artistic community, and I think it is wrong to try to censor anyone. Once the censorship starts, where will it stop? It is a slippery slope, and I don't know if your group has considered the ramifications of such a movement.

I think Shade was just very frustrated, and I can't blame her. :) I wouldnt want to be fear mongering I just want to get my opinion across and to make people think at least a little. And if Ive achieved that then I'm happy with where this is going. Im not trying to censor them Im trying to get people to think about the moral grounds of there videos. Does that make sense? Tbh we didnt know how big this would be and people seem to be taking it in a completely other way than I meant it. Thankyou.

I think its silly to want to boycott any disney vid with an "unhappy" theme. To me the most beautiful romances are the tragic ones. I can understand wanting a warning on vids containing pedophilia or something like that. you can't put a warning on everything... stalking, obession, manipulation, cheating, murder.

Most of those themes are already IN disney movies. Scar kills his brother, Frollo has a dark obession with Esmeralda...

ers are taking the characters out of their own stories and being used to create a new one, so I think whether the story is children appropriate or not shouldn't be relevant. (Especially if it's about obsession, TWILIGHT is all about obsession and it's a very popular kid craze. I think obsession can make very beautiful, tragic tales, when vidded) I think that's all? ha, I hope that the Disney community can go back to how it was, instead of this horrible division. light group perhaps? anyway, the taboo videos I've seen have been done beautifully, and it would be shame for a lot of viewers like me, who don't really have any talent for editing, to watch them disappear. I hope both sides can reach a compromise, instead of a Taboo Extinction! O_O I also think that since MANY Disney stories are kid friendly versions of quite a few adult stories, I think it's only fair that people be allowed to revert the characters back into more realistic situations. Ah, I like the arguments you presented. I'm one to enjoy the "taboo" videos as well as the lighter ones, I mostly disagree with this revolution but I do agree with certain parts. I agree that the REAL taboo subjects (for me, that's only incest and pedophilia) shouldn't be vidded in a way that makes it cute or acceptable unless it's for a story (like the Lolita vid, I enjoy that book and I think condensing it into 2-3 min. using Disney characters shows real skill). What parent sits beside their child and monitors every single thing they do What child wants that? The bottom line is that pedophilia is wrong and it shouldn't be presented as if it's cute or ok are just another pairing it's sick. Now if the video is showing it's wrong then that's no prob but when it gets to acceptable it really because
