Jamie Woon - Spirits (Globix remix live @ Amsterdam FM)

I got invited back again this week to be featured on Amsterdam FM's Casual Friday with Greg Shapiro. This time me accompanying my good friend, rapper and co-founder of Globix Alain Rutaganda (aka Diddi).

I created a track from scratch with pretty much vocals only (aside of one or two drum samples in there) beforehand and performed the rest of the vocals live together with Alain. I'm saving up for some hardware pedals and loopers to be able to do this live in the future! (or a 0 latency sound card.. my Phonix Helix Board seems to have a slight delay which makes it hard to work with in Ableton Live in an actual live setting).

The track is based on the song 'Spirits' by talented London based artist Jamie Woon. This guy's album 'Mirrorwriting' is a true must-have, the tracks on there are molded into perfection and kick general ass!

Special thanks once again to my good friend Geet Khosla for capturing the gig on camera, Rubis Benat for the support and mister Tamir the sound engineer for giving us the freedom to work with our own equipment!
