Holly sh*t, this is unbelievable, all these people watched her rape and did nothing??? WTF! This girl was in critical condition after her rape and had to be life-flighted to a hospital? Please tell me that people have been convicted!

@athrunmanly There is also much that indicates that this was premeditated and not "spur of the moment" as some have claimed and the girl targeted before the night of the dance.

They attacked the girl shortly after the cops on campus left early, they had a school issue walkie talkie, Smith knew she had left the dance early and he sought her out and exploited her trust to lure her back to the crime scene are but a few of the things that indicate this and the judge will take them into account.

@athrunmanly Her phone was answered by one of the rapists when her father tried to call her and it being found at Cody Smith's home indicates that claims he left before she was attacked are untrue. He was also placed at the scene by at least one witness before the police arrived.

@athrunmanly No, the defence is asking the judge to suppress the evidence. There is a difference and the lawyers defending the accused have been grasping at straws during the entire preliminary hearing. The judge has not yet decided on this matter.

He waived his Miranda rights once they were read to him, once he admitted involvement and this will undoubtably also play a significant role in the judges decision. As will other evidence, such as her phone being in his room.

@athrunmanly Nonsense. Most kids at the school are not white as are most who publicly expressed outrage and support for her as are the people who called the cops.

Yes, it is undoubtable that at least some who assaulted her or cheered it on had racial hatred in their hearts. When when people were spreading word of it they refereed to her race and encouraged others to go and participate but the way you are so fixated on race completely misses the deeper issues and reveals your own projections.

@libertyman0033 She came to the dance alone and left early. She was sought out by someone she thought of as a friend and she trusted and felt safe with him. He exploited her trust and lured her to where he and the others raped, tortured, beat and kicked her for over 2 hours. She was in such critical condition that she needed to be airlifted to the hospital. She was targeted well beforehand and the guy who pretended to be her friend to set her up and took part in raping her is white.
