Stand Up, Take Action, Make Noise for the MDGs 2010

The Millennium Development Goals are an eight-point road map with measurable targets and clear deadlines for improving the lives of the worlds poorest people. World leaders have agreed to achieve the MDGs by 2015.

Its up to us to make sure leaders follow through on these commitments. The United Nations Millennium Campaign supports and inspires people from around the world to take action in support of the Millennium Development Goals. Every year for three days across the globe, events are organized of all types to bring attention to the worldwide crisis that we all face -- poverty.

When world leaders gather at the United Nations for the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) Review Summit in September, the voices of their citizens will follow them, telling them, loudly and clearly: "We will no longer stay seated or silent in the face of poverty and the broken promises to end it!'
