i'm a vegan groupie. i know i should be... but i am a lazy, opportunistic eater.
i just watched "forks over knives" and i am convinced. my eating habits (could be worse, but) are terrible. if i could snag that documentary, i'd post it on here.

@MichaelLines365 now since you are getting tired of my retorts and i do genuinely think you’re a nice guy and stuff i’ve decided to do something very out of character and be a gent by letting you have the last word if you so wish to take it... take care
@souldude81 I was not even referring to animal flesh in the question. Those outbreaks are likely from a commercial company that experiments with GMO's. You will not see that with someone who produces their own foods. Where there a will, there is a way to stay balanced whether you are pro-meat or vegan. The point is that companies are now experimenting with the foods and results are not always exactly what people would want to eat if they knew what it does to the human body. Grow your own food.

@destroyentropy I know this is an old post, but sorry it's total nonsense. A plant-based diet is widely agreed to be the most sustainable diet for humans in this day and age. It would feed the entire planet at least seven times over. Half the global warming gasses would cease (as they are produced by meat and dairy industries). Meat is incredibly wasteful compared to plant agriculture in terms of space and resources.
