A Washington, DC first grade class sings Stompin' Tom Connors' The Hockey Song as part of its Holiday Concert on December 21, 2006. The singing is led by Theo, a Canadian - who wears his Toronto Maple Leafs jersey, and a hockey fan.

  • see, hockey rules everywhere! Stompin Tom would be pleased!!

  • Isn't it "The Canadians win" rather than "The home team wins"?

It's understandable since it's sung by American kids but classics shouldn't be changed!

  • @schumi246 There's a little guy sporting a Toronto Maple Leafs jersey too. In D.C.? Rock on little ones, rock on.

  • Great Job Theo and gang!

  • Sad it always takes an expat to teach Americans about Canadian culture.

  • I'm jealous we didn't do this when I was in elementary school.

  • love it..awesome

  • Great Work,

  • I saw a kid in there, that was wearing a Wichita Thunder Jersey. I find that weird being that they are in DC, and i am here in wichita.
