NO ANIMAL was 100% scavenger. Even vultures can and do kill live prey on occasion. Plus there's no way for something as big as T. rex to rely entirely on scavenging. It had very high energy requirements. The only way to imagine a T. rex living only on carrion is to have a cold-blooded T. rex which is a totally bankrupt theory and has been for 40 years now. Horner's stuff is as obsolete as a telegraph. What the heck was big enough to keep all those Triceratops in check, if not T. rex?

T-Rex was both a hunter and scavenger. Unlike the theory proposed by Jack Horner that it was a 100% scavenger which I do not agree with it.
