As much as I have always loved Linda, I have also preferred Karla's version of this song so much more. I had the chance to see her perform with Jesse Winchester at a small club in SLO years ago, and she was just awesome -- so much so that I think Jesse was kinda burned at being upstaged. Sure wish you had the complete version of both these songs, but still so nice to see Karla in her prime...

@WendyWowWard Yep, as much as I dearly love Linda Ronstadt's cover of this song, I always figure the person who wrote it felt it most and knows how they intended it to be sung.
