  • i love this composition so much!! i could listen to it all day long.i really love baroque period music in general, very relaxing.

  • I really can't stop listening to this wonderful music over and over...

  • I wouldn't mind getting the cello part of this song.

  • can you give some details about the recording (orchestra/conductor/date/etc)?

  • @bsm12i1 (Part 2 of 2. Read part 1 first.) Open A is the 2nd space up on the trebble cleff, and open E is the 4th space up. So, a violin's tuned in 5ths .. G D A E. The G is below middle C. The D is 1 note above middle C. The A is a 6th above middle C, and is the 2nd space. The E is an octave plus a 3rd above middle C and is the 4th space on the trebble cleff. The notes in between are line space line space, etc. E-1st line, F-1st space, G-2nd line, A-2nd space, B-3rd line, etc.

  • @bsm12i1 (Part 1) Violin music is written in the trebble cleff and, simplistically speaking, has the same letter notes as any other instrument. The lines are, from bottom to top, E G B D and F, and the spaces are, from bottom to top F, A, C, and E. Middle C is 2 notes below the bottom line of the trebble cleff and is always written in with a ledger line. 2 ledger lines below is A. G is just below that, which is the low string on your violin. Open D is 1 note below the trebble cleff.
