loading the tires with windshield washer fluid on my Simplicity 7116.
7 gallons into 23x10.5-12 tires. to me this was the simplest way to do it.
took about 12 minutes per tire.

  • are your tires tubed or just on plain rims ?

  • @8tyman8 they are not tubed

  • Does this work the same way if you want to remove it to .!!!!

  • @osengasimplicity the fuel pump seems to be strong enough to pull the fluid back out but i have never tried it

  • How do you have it attached to the tire?

  • @greglava it is just a piece of fuel line pushed onto the valve stem.

  • @cityboy2977 very true, but on a 47,500 acre sheep and cattle ranch the tractors dont get close to the housing all that much =]

  • @mutantroosta the only problem with auto antifreeze is having pets around if you get a leaky tire.

  • we use water and antifreeze here in new zealand, it doesnt effect the rims as the water is contained inside the tubes

  • not exactly sure what the long term effects will be on the rims. but you can read much more at My Tractor Forums
