This gentle comedy - released in 1980 - was Bill Forsyth's first as both writer and director, and preceded 'Gregory's Girl', which featured many of the same cast.
Ronnie, Wal, Andy and Vic are four bored, unemployed teens in a dreary, rainy Glasgow. Ronnie comes up with a great idea. He has noticed that stainless steel sinks are worth a lot of money and comes up with a complicated scheme: to steal sinks from a warehouse dressed as girls and using a stop-motion-potion.
A shining example of how to make a great film for peanuts.

Great film ! Nive to see it again .Sounds very much like the same backing music that was used in Gregory's Girl (certainly the same group ) and what about the classic Sydney Devine 'Spanish Eyes' at the burger van scene !!
