Cuffed, brought to station, given a 'firm talking to', then released? Wtf is that? A non-arrest? Gawd these cops are getting out of control. Keep us informed.

Sounds like they kidnapped him to me. Someone call the FBI, the local corrupt police are kidnapping people.

Animals are not people, they are property. If you want animals to have rights they have to provide for themselves and not rely upon another for sustainment and shelter.
You are right they can come on the property with a police officer serving a search warrant, if they do not have a search warrant or other court order granting them access to the property they have no right to be on that property and if they enter the property they are criminals.

Uh, this video was hardly entertaining. Once it was funny watching the would be libetarians play with the authorities. It's hard to imagine this insignificant state getting down to business of any kind.

My understanding is the SPCA threatened to get a warrant(overstepping)and when the police got one the SPCA did the search. I also understand the people got the horses because they were abused and were caring for them, the vet involved then reported them for abuse he knew happened previously.

Yes. Police officially search and seize, non-gov't folks can come along as observers and ultimately gain custody of the animals if any are seized.
-
The cops wanted to violate their freedom of speech on their own private property because the property owners wouldn't let them violate their freedom against an unwarranted search. The cops made themselves look bad. These folks just got it on camera.
And yes, we are spoiled brats, especially when it comes to very important Constitutional rights. Read the Constitution (and particularly, the first 10 Amendments contained therein). These rights are VERY important. We can't let them be stepped on.

The cops made themselves look bad. This guy was videotaping in his own front yard. And the cops lies on camera, if he did not want to "look bad" he should not have lied.
I am going to go against all of you guys on this one. Any agency that works to protect helpless animals (provided they are not corrupt) should be able to verify their safe and humane treatment within reason. If you think your privacy is being violated imagine the animals that have suffered from unmoral cruel owners such as dog fighting exc. Animals should have rights too..
God Bless their fury hearts!!! =)
