This was the find of the day! A beautiful Tiger Oak pedestal table with claw feet and lion's heads. It is in great shape, but is missing the leaves. It still hasmost of the old paper sticker on it indicating that it was made by Crandall, Bennett & Porter, NJ in the late 19th to early 20th century. Tiger oak has a very unique grain that comes from the way the red oak is cut.
we used to live down deep in southern maryland and we loved it up there. great videos and look forward to watching all of your pieces.
