A simple sales database is used to demonstrate how a query can be made to select sales information that will be used to create a printed invoice. Query by form is used to select the sales transactions to one customer on one date. Please note that this database has a simplified data structure with just one table storing the sales transactions.

  • Great Videos! I have a question though. In making an invoice in an Invoice Form, how do I limit a Products Listbox to show only items covered only by a certain Purchase Order Number? Currently, when I select the PO No. in the Invoice form, the products listbox show all products covered in other PO nos.

  • Sorry, I can't say from what you have said. Is this right: you recieve a PO from a customer and then make up an invoice, selecting the items from your list box? If you give 2 or 3 examples of the data for each part I might be able to see what you are asking.

  • Thank you for your kind remarks. These videos explain a simple way of making the invoice - there is a step-up from this, which is more practical, but more complicated. I hope I can find the time to add this later.
