as much as i hate everything they are doing, and i think it's absolutley stupid.... I doubt anybody would let them get away with putting the tumbler in a landfill.... i heard there was only 3 still standing in the world. im sure somebody scooped it up for a museum, at least i hope.

Well that's semi-true. Demolition could not begin until the bats migrated out for the winter, so that means this spring demo will begin. I know that the owners were meeting with investors two weeks ago as they toured the park.

I didnt mean the video sucked, I meant Americana, lol

I talked to a construction worker at the park, apparently they cant tear the park down because there is an endangered species of bat living there! great news!

This amusement Park has always scared me, and now they make a movie. My bros and sisters went in there before and there was a blue truk driving with no one in it. And theres a blue truk or car in the movie. So creeepy.
I'm from Chippewa, so sad they are going to tear it all down next spring for condos and a new hotel. The Tumble Bug, I'm afraid, is definitely going to the garbage dump. The new owners want the land cleared and don't care about the remaining rides/structures. Funny as this is the 30th anniversary of the park's closing.

Thank you for sending along the information. I guess they call it progress.
