Once I heard "Free Ride," I was hooked. What's the legalities of using copyrighted music in ads? I notice that the locals do it all the time.

Not sure on the legalities.. The audio bed came to us premade, probably from a radiostation. Wish I could get away with using copyrighted music.
When I was at KSLA we were allowed to use any music we wanted in a pkg (sans bad language)as long as we filled out some form. Though I think most everyone ignored that rule. Guess that's prolly different than a commercial application though.
