  • Let's all try to be honest with ourselves here. No matter -who- Ozzy picked to replace Randy, a large percentage of Ozzy fans would be be giving the poor guy the finger. Randy Rhodes was an incredibly tough act to follow. We all know that.

In my opinion, Brad Gillis did an awesome job on this material, especially given the circumstances at the time. Was he as good as Randy..? No. But so what...? NOBODY is going to play this material as well as Randy did, no matter who they are. So just chill.

  • God what a way to Start!!! Love ya Ozzy!!!

  • @Tessmage don't let it get to you, i've been having the same argument for thirty years.

  • They are using studio overdubs on Ozzy's vocals.

  • @JayCrazy74 Night ranger had some awesome songs, Sister Christian is not representative of the rest of their music at all. But liek a lot of bands in the MTV generation, the record companies pushed the most "radio friendly" song for the single and now thats all anyone remembers them for. It's kinda like Extreme who was a pretty hard rocking band being remembered for an acoustic ballad (of course they didnt help things by following that up with another acoustic ballad as a single)

  • @JayCrazy74 Night Ranger...sad, isn't it?

  • Well stated. The only thing I would have added was the fact that Ozzy has a long track record of developing/ exposing guitarists to light of day, all of which have proven to be outstanding in their own right. Name a bad axman that has played with the madman...some of those guys might still be landscapers or pool boys if not for him.

  • That's a great song and that band sounds good. Brad Gillis is great. I don't think he had very much time to rehearse those songs and get ready. He just had to get up and do it.

  • Gotta say this, even though he was'nt Randy, Brad Gillis did a bad ass job here and on the album Speak of the Devil. He would've been amazing had he stayed with metal. But alas he ended up playing crap like Sister Christian with Night Ranger

  • this is a fucking wicked live version of Ozzy Osbourne. this has to be the best version iv watched :D other than those other piece of shit vids out there >:(

  • Great Brad Gillis!

  • Great Bradd Gillis!
