@josh2511 Metallica has its own style, songs and way to use bass. They're not as funky and experimental as Primus, so what ? Plus, your comment about their ego makes even less sense because a certain guy called Cliff Burton (Orion, Anesthesia) was in the band.

@DonaldHellsing i agree too bad about metallica post cliff tho. cliff was the soul of the band and dave was the heart. the left over wasnt so great heh

Say what you want about Metallica, yes Les is too good of a bass player for them, however, Kirk Hammet is a guitar god, Lars is meh (average) on the drums, and James is a decent singer and rhythm guitarist. I agree, most of this band sucks too much for Les, but I think that a Kirk and Les combo would be EPIC!

They should've let Les in for the Bass tracks to saint anger. They had nothing to lose.

I'm glad Metallica kicked out Dave, and didn't accept Les. Because now we have Metallica, Megadeth and Primus. And I like all of them. Just my opinion.
