in the part where the yellow connectors are all connected together with black rods, how do you bend/curve them without the black rod coming out

Nice, I like how you built your own chain. I built somehting very similar except it lifts ping pong balls and uses the black knex chain links. It's about 5 feet high. I got into Knex when I was about six until I was about 13. From there I took a break for a few years. Now I'm 20 and thinking of getting back in to it. I built that ball lift back around 2003. I left it together till this day because it took so much thinking to get everything just right. I ready to fire that thing back up!

Wow! That has to be the best application I have ever seen of 3 of my favorite childhood toys.
(the 3 being kinex, tango(what the loop was made off), and marble works (even though technically marble works was not involved and kinex was imitating that roll)
