Getting ready to plant potatoes. The potato is the survivalist friend. Unlike a lot of other crops, potatoes can be eaten at phase of development.

  • thank you so much for teaching me because school doesnt teach me this

  • But will it blend?

  • @thatguywiththeegg check out vids on trash can potatoes, there are many, but watch many of them. there is one with a woman that has a small greenhouse and uses like 5 garbage cans and she gets a couple hundred pounds worth.

  • Great video. A quick question, long term how much farming space would you say would be required to sustain one person per year? I don't really have access to farm land but this stuff is of concern to me and I would like to start becoming self sufficient before something goes wrong.

  • It is so fundamental to know. thoughtful

  • The washing machine was a great effect. Thanks for this. Never seen this much detail. Needed to see it, too.

  • I saw another video of yours about planting the potato and I wanted to know how to make the seed. I searched for another video and found another from you.

Thank you for posting so many videos!

I learn a lot from you!

  • Great video! Gonna try it myself:)

But I have a question: My space is limited, how much space do I need between the seed potatoes? If I plant them in 5gallon buckets for instance, how many can be planted in the same bucked do you think?

    Thanks in advance!

    Greetings from Norway^^

  • great vid kev, how are your melons doing out at the camp ?

  • Do you mulch them once in a while so the tubers don't get near the son, or do you just cover them with more dirt as the leaves grow. I want to do this in a garbage can. Thanks!
