  • Fantastic...thank you so much for uploading..any ideas where one can get still get the audio for this..??? .

  • @severalseasons - prior to the arrest of megaupload's owners it was easy, now i'm not sure. Search for the keywords with google or yahoo - "allman grateful dead watkins glen 1973 soundboard download"

  • Those were the cosmic days! I sat on the hood of a blue WPLR fm radio station (New Haven, CT) bus right in front of the stage right - the Boy were wide awake AND SMOKIN!!

  • @iwastheretwodays - lol, cool.

  • F*^KIN' KILLER!!!!! Scottish folk singer Donavan is the original author of this song. The Allman's made the most famous recording. I always thought the Dead should have made it part of their repitaur (couldn't get a spell check for that word. NUTS!). Also wish there was video for this entire show. But beautiful job who ever created this! Thanks!!

  • @ruk777 - thank you! i agree, this was just an amazing jam with the Dead in there.

  • @scottcoppola - Thank you, yeah, it was like finding a gem in the closet.

  • Great video, even though you forgot to mention that the Band was also part of the jam. Great sounding jam. Even though everyone was on something different. The Dead were tripping, the Allman Bros were coked out and the Band was sloshed, literally. Bill Graham was standing behind Danko holding him up by his guitar strap because he was extremely drunk. But somehow it worked.

  • Oh yeh man still like yesterday thanks so much.

  • Nice slideshow and photography. Thanks for sharing : ) : ) : )

  • Ahhhh the memories!

  • I had been there for two days. I specifically remember hearing this the night we had to walk back to the town of Watkins Glen and then figure out how to get home that morning. But it did make the hike a lot easier! Somehow, in the middle of a gazillion other hitchhikers, we got a ride all the way home!

  • A beautiful video, even better music.

  • I love how they play off each other, Thanks for the posting

  • I'm sorry to comment again. For all of the brothers and sisters who enjoy all three bands "People can you feel it?"
