@e3erockstar08 At that time, there weren't as many cable and satellite channels making their own TV shows, which meant that the big 3 networks had the corner market on television shows, which will never be the case ever again. It would be impossible for a show like "Mad Men" or "The Sopranos" to air on any of the 4 networks today without there being extreme censorship, which means nobody would watch them.
Seinfeld did pretty good for its time, but wow. NBC for a time had THE GREATEST THURSDAY NIGHT LINEUP OF ALL TIME!!!! Trust me, if I could put that in bigger font, i would. Unfortunately, we will never see lineups like that again.
