@fishermankory same my 115 hp evinrude ficht from 03' gets better gas economy than a four stroke....and it only costs me 20-25 bucks to winterize it.

@fishermankory actually they are great and am telling u for a fact your etect doesn't get better mileage than a 4 stroke yammi and the 350 yammis isn't racing engines there for heavier boats

@gladheateher4now will it depends on you if u want fuel economy and reliability go for yamahas if u want power speed and less weight merc also since your boat is a 36 i would go mers personally because i like power and speed and dont really care about fuel but if your boat was a 40 go for Yamaha

@KENDALLGROUP no it wont i 2 strokes are for power and speed and until they make four stroke that can out preform a 2 stroke i would want a 4 stroke but they should make a 350 2 stroke
