Shane Cordeau, one of the infamous SVMM skeirs from the now age, turns it on at Selections 2009 in Winter Park Colorado, just days ago. There is a reason he had the fastest run by over one second and won the day. That reason being his unique "technical" ability to get the ski more on edge, round out the turn a bit more, and ride those rails down the fastest path, which is not always the straightest line a ski can take. If you believe that straigthest is fastest, you are thinking of downhill racing instead of mogul skiing. The different techniques used by Shane appear subtle and are even hard to see sometimes, but it is very significant and very different. Look closely at the skis then visit us at weekendwarriorsguide.com to learn more.

@cordeauski these are the coolest turns i`ve ever seen in a mogul comp...look at the energy transfer between turns, especially about 10 bumps or so before the bottom air, it looks so awesome and more controlled without any momentum loss.

Like the way that the skiers skis hit the mogul tips first not at the bindings
