  • Just because you're a doctor doesn't mean you will always play a great performance

  • there were a lot of fluffed notes by the soloist but the ensemble accompanying sounded awesome.

  • And he is a doctor? There was a hell of a lot of 'fluffed' notes in there, not the best performance.

  • Dr. Shook gave a concert and a few masterclasses this past week. Great guy! Great trumpet player! Great concert! Loved to have him at the University of South Alabama.

  • I've played this as a trumpet solo, but never heard it as a full band arrangement! Well done!
