there were a lot of fluffed notes by the soloist but the ensemble accompanying sounded awesome.

Dr. Shook gave a concert and a few masterclasses this past week. Great guy! Great trumpet player! Great concert! Loved to have him at the University of South Alabama.

I've played this as a trumpet solo, but never heard it as a full band arrangement! Well done!
