  • They are all just walking around creating a masterpiece like they are in between rounds at the bar, like its nothing. Amazing

  • I mean this in the best way possible when I say that Zach Condon has the loveliest cherub face I have ever seen..

  • This makes me so happy :D

  • it looks nothing like a bombo

  • For most of the people here asking about the drum

here in Chile is a very comon instrument we call it "Bombo"

for the onomatopeia but you may call it big fat folk drum

  • you can get a closer look at it in the video for "the penalty"

  • This is just brilliant! They act like it is nothing, but actually it is everything. It's so weird when I try to explain people that I'm into Beirut, cause most of them dont understand how beatiful it is,but anyway

  • Being a drummer myself, the sound being produced is way to thick, or maybe I'm just being dumb, and i have seen drums like that, just don't know what they are called, but i will take what you said into consideration and try it out.

  • haha i just clicked on the sevent page of comments out of boredom and there it was. being a drummer it definetly looks to me like a bass drum skin attatched with metak screwss to a wooden lid. this lid is removable and is what separates the skin from the physical barrel of the bass drum. usually the screws would go through the skin the lid and then into the bass drum.

  • Ha you must have been digging through the comments to find that. it's not just the skin(s), it has hardware and a wood drum shell. For everyone else, I still want to know what he's using, I'm sure its not a bodhrán.

  • this would sound better if the drummer didnt contribute any vocals........they are quite awful hahah

  • just the skin of a bass drum
