The song used in the vid is The Platters' "The Great Pretender", and is the property of Mercury Records. It is used in the video for artistic/atmospheric purposes, and the video/project is a completely non-profit, fan-made tribute, made by a fan of both the Fallout series and The Platters.
Also, many many thanks to CGTextures.com. Without their site, this wouldn't look even half as good as it turned out. Rock on!
This is a fan-made introduction video made to look and feel like the official intros for the Fallout game series. It follows the same formula in terms of 50's inspired, post apocalyptic scenery, with a panning camera and a 50's song playing in the background.
I made this for my final project in school, and it took around three weeks of work in total (it did take a lot longer to go from start to finish though, so the three week period is just an approximation.)
As mentioned in the credits, I used Autodesk Maya 2010, Photoshop and Unreal Development kit. Because I used UDK, everything recorded played back in real-time, so there is no offline rendering (save for the credits screens added in Premiere, of course.)
Any comments and crits are welcome, I hope you enjoy the vid!

@GoldenCreekValleyRR It's great, right? I got it off of the Freesound Project, it's a great website with tonnes of CC-licensed sounds and music.
