Hey Pauleh just wondering, maybe you could use different size circles? You seem to use the same size for everthing XD (Tower base, round house, back of boat)

@waterstonjamie Hehe I know my bad, I'm just used to that pattern plus the size seems to suit most builds but I will mix it up.

The 'broken chunks' are probably due to Optifine.. If you have it installed, other than that your on your own. Yeah, everytime you update MC the settings reset so check your GUI/Brightness \m/

Pauleh, just wanted to let you know that I've got the same problem with slightly dark places having turned pitch black after updating to 1.1. If you find a fix, it'd be cool if you could let us know in one of your vids! Cheers.

The texture pack you're using is wonderful! I downloaded it but I find unlighted spots in a cave are just black, which makes it hard for me to light it. Is this a problem on my part, or is the texture pack just that dark?

Just checked this out on the forums 'MC Patcher 2.3.1 Allows for Custom Colors mod! Texture pack authors can now customize many colors in the game including swamps, LIGHTING, and more.' Didn't you say you downloaded the non-changed (original) John Smith Texture Pack? Try it out man, try out your custom John Smith Texture Pack and try the original - see if there's a difference. Hope so \m/
