It's all about the driver.

Being a twin clutch system, where odd set of gears (1-3-5) and even set of gears (2-4-6) are operated by separate clutches, it seems the car wouldn't shift into odd set of gears (they did not elaborate whether it's a computer fault or mechanical fault). They also mentioned that 5000km of circuit racing could be the limit for the transmission on the first batch of GT-R.

mine's r34 i still think bests r35 in a simular sensible tune.
will take till 2012 atleast before R35 really gets tuned hard.
Skyline got MAAAD in 2005 (GT-R R34) and topped in 2006 2007, and after that its pretty much been the same.
a R34 is a piece of art, and will probably forever be a icon of low displacement power.
