So did you staff the butte or was it just a visit?? I spend alot of time up there and have been to the road that is gated to the lookout but have never walked up to check it out.. clear lake and gold butte are others on my list to stay at and see but have not made it yet :( Great video!!!

I did not staff this lookout. This was a visit. I did staff Clear Lake Butte LO NNE of this tower (mentioned in this video) the summers of '02 and '04. Sisi Butte Lookout is no longer staffed for fire seasons (except for "Emergency" status). It is also no longer on the rental option. That is a shame because this is a fairly new lookout and covers a large area.
