In later episodes, Blake says more than once that Krystle's accident, which is causing her illness, was "A couple of years ago", & that it was due to her falling from the horse when she lost their first baby...obviously, his idea of 'a couple of years' is different to everyone else's. Krystina must be at least 4 years old by now....

@prueisgr8 Probably - David Paulsen (Producer for Season 9) said in an interview recently that when he took over Dynasty he looked into the possibly of bringing Pamela Sue Martin back because she was loved by the audience and yet Emma Samms wasn't - up until this point anyway! He apparently changed his mind upon speaking with Emma and realising that she had much more potential than she was showing. He had her work on her American accent and gave her much better storylines ie. Zorelli etc.

It's true.
Krystle HADN'T been herself for several years --- Linda Evans' acting wasn't the same after Season 2... It was nice they finally provided a "logical" plot explanation for it.

Oh, Krystle had so many head injuries over the years, it's hard to determine exactly which one caused the problems. Perhaps it was cumulative.
