  • there is a dam called Mullaperiyar in our Kerala,India, the dam is 116 years old.it is not rebuilt because 2 states are quarrel among each other for the water.if the dam collaps it will take life of 3500000 peoples in Kerala and 5 districts shall disappear from it.the fight is still going on whether new dam is needed or not.other state thinks only for water not for safety of the people.

  • This is a neat place to visit, been their a few times. We have a cabin off 144 near Cross Fork and Oley Bull state park, 5 hours frome home in south central PA. Long drive but well worth it there's nothing like Gods Country. Used to have relatives from Potter but their gone now. A German Shephard I used to have, Duke, was at the dam with me one time and he climbed the face of it clear to the top, scared me to death wondering how he'd get down, then he just ran right down.

  • This dam was used as the Roulsville Dam in the Judy Bolton Mystery book THE VANISHING SHADOW from 1932, the first of the 38 Judy Bolton Mysteries to take place in Potter County PA.

  • I heard this song by the writer Bob last week and was touched by the story behind it. It is quite a story; thanks Bob for a bit of Pennsylvania history I did not know.

  • This is weird. I've never heard of this town before and didn't know it even existed but the name of it came to me while I was half asleep yesterday. I was really surprise to see it was an actual place. When I first "heard" it in my head I just thought it was some crossed wires or something since I've heard of an Austin TX before. Anyway, just thought I'd post this anyway.

  • ive been there before i have rocks off of it

  • I love the park
