Reggie Jackson is the team leader for a mobile Syringe Exchange Program that operates out of an RV in Washington, DC. The program provides clean needles to drug users in order to prevent the spread of AIDS/HIV and other blood borne diseases. This is especially significant given the high rate of AIDS/HIV in the District. Reggie is a former drug addict and has been living with AIDS/HIV and hepatitis C for 22 years. He uses his experiences to counsel the addicts that come to the RV to exchange their used needles for clean ones.

This video exemplifies a positive service rendered by Prevention Works to the public. To hear Mr. Jackson's story and his vision for others demonstrates a passion of his willingness to help others as himself and to prevent others contributing to the statistics. To know that one can live longer with this disease as Mr. Jackson is a long term survivor surely gives hope to another. Continue to maintain the extraordinary work for self and others. Reiterating: This is a WINNER!

I really enjoyed this video and the story of Mr. Jackson. Thank you for sharing this...and a big thanx to Mr. Jackson and everyone like him who contribute to important causes.
Additionally, as per the project report directions (profile a person in YOUR community) and judging criteria - this one is a winner.
Cheers
