@millardoug Shut up troll.

Took my dad 20 years to get this on DVD!

I love this movie! Great fun and a Providence Classic.
I wish I could find the Young Adults music anywhere..
Still have the movie on VHS, but the audio quality is not quite up to being a source to rip the music.

@EZGOinRI The Electric Elephant was in Middletown, RI next to the Atlantic Beach club. I loved it there! ITMB (The incredible two man band) used to pack the joint

Sorry Rich, but my favorite venue for the Adults was the Electric Elephant...miss you on Westminster still.

last time I saw Rudy Cheeks, he was a TALK DJ on WAVE radio..in Providnece. I saw bought the movie, Complex world, then threw it out or burned it. Same thing Rudy did to dollar bills up on stage one night, when he deemed money worthless shit. too bad everyone couldn't have donated the money instead of defacing our almightly dollar. The Movie sucked, big time. I know Rich Lupo well and knew he put a a great deal of time and money into it, but it just didn't happen. I took too long for one thing

Would you believe I LIKE the movie? The first time I thought it was so-so, but each time I rewatched it, I liked it more. Of course it's easy to think that money is worthless shit, or unnecessary, etc., when you HAVE it! This was Mr. Wolpaw's first feature, and I think it was very ambitious. I recently watched David Cronenberg's first feature, and it SUCKED, and I mean SUCKED. CW was far better. You tell Mr. Lupo I liked it, although that won't help his bank account.

Mr Lupo's bank account is just fine. He, along with John Reddy, from JRs roadhouse, alais , have been Rhode Island's most successful night club owners. Those 2 have made though 5 deacades, through good and bad times, recessions, etc, while other night club owners have crashed. Most club owners today don't know 1/100 of those what thost 2 guys know. All they do is complain, bout how the band MUST have a following to work here. I say, I am a band, I want to play here, where is YOUR following?

Yes, Mr. Lupo is a superb businessman and club owner, without question. He is the Ziegfield of his day.

See my other comment -- I actually like the movie! Part of it is just basking in the golden glow of Providence/Lupos/Young Adults Nostalgia, like reliving one's lost youth.
