WoW: Protection Paladin solo Gehennas | MC guide (written)

Read please:

I went back to Gehennas as he's the only hard solo fight in there (not counting Ragnaros) and one of the few I didn't accomplish yet. But now it's done. Next up will be Shazzrah followed by Majordomo.

I doubt I'll ever make Ragnaros as I simply refuse to get Fire Resistance gear... for now xD

This is definately the hardest Solo of Molten Core. i had several wipes 3%... 5%... 13% so i decided to rewatch this video. i do heavily outgear it like grashnok, but i noticed something strange on his buffs... he is using hand of salvation. this glyph reduces your threat. but also reduces your damage taken. very ideal for soloing the toughest bosses. since there will be nobody to outthreat you. hope this tip helps you while soloing this boss!

Yep, Glyph of Salvation was used and it's really useful for soloing. And raids aswell. Most Prot Paladin Glyphs are horrible and I usually got a huge TPS lead on the bosses I tank, so it adds some migitation in raids aswell.

did this fight with my ret paladin too and i think its somehow easier than with prot :) but you can kill the others easier than me ;)

Yeah it's a pain as prot if you don't have a lot of block / resistance gear. The healing debuff does it. Finally omw to try out Ragnaros solo :)

thanks a lot man just tryed this boss for the first time by myself got raped then watched this video and raped him i know its porbably a lot easier since cata but still hard if you don't know what your doing plus im only 82 thanks again

Well, lay on hands cant be used while shield is used anymore.... So I just dont make it.... He is killing me each and every fucking time :L what should I do..?

This video is obviously doctored, there is categorically no way a Pally can solo anything in MC, lawl.

I did it now. My tactic was simple. I nuked his Adds using Seal of Command. When the Adds are dead i swapped to Seal of Light and nuked him down. During the fight i used Lay on Hands WITH the Debuff on me. I also made use of the Ardent Defender and then (Forbearance was gone) i used Bubble and got to ~70% life. In the whole fight i used fire resistance aura and the Blessed Shield? (I dont know the english term.. )

Fuckin blizzard they have LoH on forbadance now so you cant bubble and use that >:O

also this fight is pretty luck dependent, i got stunned 4 times by the adds before my killshot and got the healing debuff almost straight away, these things can make or break this fight
