kingcrusher , why Black can't play g7-g5 at 12;47 and win a piece?
-
@braaiiinn oh, it was already asked. whoops.
-
at 11:20, why is there no pawn push to g5? or at least when the knight moves to prevent any Nxf6 threats?
-
@wald4fre "Checkers" :)

Hi KC! You mentioned that Lasker exelled in drafts (?!). I wonder what that is, not being a native english man...

Just recapping this video... what exactly is the Pillsbury bind, and how is it shown in this game??
-
Why isn't g5 considered instead of Qc6?? I don't know which exact move that is, but it's when black plays Qc6. Instead, g5 is forking Queen and Rook, and if taken en passant, the Knight can retake and re-fork. Let me know if there is a problem with g5, thanks.

Help by adding this and other new vids to your "favorites"- this action moves up the video rating in search queues.
Even though the engine analysis might be "disrespectful," I think it should still be used whenever you get the urge, like in this video. As a frequent viewer of your videos, I find the discoveries very interesting.

Pillsbury beat Lasker twice and drew him three times at the St. Petersberg 1895 Quadrangular tournament, outscoring the World Champion 3.5 to 2.5 out of six games. Lasker won the tournament, ahead of Steinitz in second. Chigorin finished last- Pillsbury was seriously ill during the second half of the event.
