that location was killer back in the 80's. there is actually a "basement level" that was in use back then too with a slide that went down to it from the stage area. it's all just storage now though i'm sure. i was actually hoping someone on youtube had old video of that slide and that's how i found this vid. that location was a 3 story toy store before it became chuck's. i still go there for pizza!

I just turned 30 myself! and even so my love for Chuck hasn't faded 1 bit. that store is really cool. The other CEC in SJ (over on the corner of Kooser & Blossom hill was the first official store to open following a protype location that used to be on Winchester Blvd. The location you visited used too be a toy store (hence it's size)
