Please just do some casual research on the addictive properties of common drugs before you speak of them. Alcohol is passively dismissed as something relative to marijuana, yet marijuana is not (physically) addictive at all, and alcohol is severely physically addictive ... like opiates. Just because they're both relatively common, doesn't mean they're the same.

I'm pretty sure Marcy Playground doesn't like poppies and opium. At their woodstock performance they played the song Opium and John said: "This song is about pain..." So we can safely assume that this song aint that positive about harddrugs.
As for marihuana, that is so totally different to hard drugs. Of course there are some real addicts out there, but there are also alcoholics.
A regular smoker is not certainly addicted.
