Also, the Sign of Solomon is a holy symbol dating back to the first heroic poetry about the Grail, I think Sir Gawain had it on it's shield - it's a pentacle.
People just plain forget stuff.

Awesome LP, but I'm a little confused...are the hospital scenes flashbacks or forwards?

They're flashbacks. The game starts with him entering the cult house and opening the portal, then he's in a mental institution, then he goes to the investigation of Innsmouth.
