baumgartner, was one of the most technical fighters i can recall. he always used balancing and weird movements. he was awkward to fight.

yeah right but the reason why probert was better at the end was he would waite till his jersey was off then statrt fighting because the other guy couldn't grab on. that is a known fact!

Great fight. Bomber was a good young tough kid, but he was getting overwhelmed at the end. I always said that most of the fights Probert lost was because the refs stepped in too early. Bobby often got pummelled early, but if the fight went into the championship rounds he almost never lost. McSorley too. Both guys had cardio for days.
