Why don't you pay closer attention, I never said 'You' said anything. I clearly stated that I'm talking about the people who made this video and anti smoking lobbyists. Again, learn how to read. I have never approved of scare tactics, my tactic is take personal responsibility and read the damn warning label on the box, if you still want to smoke after reading those risks then fine. If you don't fine. We don't need to make fear videos, and false statistics. That's wrong.

@ace19901227 and in case you didn't notice, i didn't quote any figures as i do not want to spread possibly misleading numbers. if i was to quote statistics, i would make sure to find a reliable source. i remember health class and how we were shown pictures of various effects of smoking; one could claim they had shock value and intended to "scare" people away from smoking. i am not sure as to the effectiveness of this tactic, but i learned enough about smoking that i will never do it.

@ace19901227 why don't YOU pay closer attention to my posts; i never mentioned any consequences - i was simply stating that the consequences of smoking must not be belittled and awarded adequate discussion time and attention. it is a personal choice to smoke; tobacco companies were required to state the negative effects of their products on the package, although i doubt that has deterred many people from smoking.

I never said theres nothing wrong with smoking and that raising awareness is lying. Get your facts straight and learn how to read. Saying second hand smoke kills without any scientific evidence is a lie, saying smoking may cause lung cancer isn't. There's a fine line between promoting facts and promoting fear. Making false statistics is wrong and thats what anti smoking lobbyists do, Tobacco industries tell you their product can harm you on the box. Look who's telling the truth.

People drive cars every day, painters climb ladders every day, cole miners work in cole mines every day, a person working on lawn mowers can shop off their hand and die of blood loss. Point is, anything can kill you, so should everything be illegal? Smoking doesn't kill people, it kills some people. The lady down my street is 95 and has smoked a carton a week since she was 15. ShaunDreclin is a moron who made a ridiculous, dim witted statement and deserves to be called out on it.
-
@ace19901227 True those can kill you too, but honestly do you do that every single day? and sticking your head under a lawn mower? you would have to be really and I mean really stupid to do that, unless your fixing it...
-
@ace19901227 so you saying there's nothing wrong with smoking and if one mentions the consequences, they are lying? that's one helluva fucked up way to think
-
Guess what else can kill people-falling off a ladder, getting in a car accident, drinking bleach, playing with fire, huffing paint, finger in an electrical socket, playing in traffic, snorting ant-killer, hanging yourself, cutting your wrists, voting democrat, sticking your head under a lawn mower. Anything can kill you. Sorry that liberals like yourself can't understand that, and are so quick to give up your freedom all based upon a crappy low budget commercial from California.
-
ya by lying to them, and blowing things out of proportion. I guess when it comes to CA liberals, it's okay to lie to people as long as it helps serve their cause.
I'll smoke to that!
