Yes, the original Remember Me is on my favourites list. Yes, I made a parody of it. The name of the song in the video is listed AT THE END OF THE VIDEO! :-)

What a way to start off the new year! I have been watching a lot of videos over the past month and found one which gave me inspiration to create another one of my own.. going back to just straight pictures, text and music. I have a lot of material here I can create videos out of but sometimes something or someone comes along that gives you inspiration to skip all the old stuff and start anew. Of course having the time and your computer working properly helps use up the old stuff but when you get this feeling of "I just got to make it" then that one has to be done right away. You find the time and work-a-rounds to get it done.

This is how I felt after watching the original "Remember Me" - one of YouTube's most watched videos! So in little under a week after watching the original and a little over a year of the original being uploaded.. I present my version of "Remember Me".. a parody called "Remember Me?" poking fun at all the has-been, washed up, reached their peak and dropped off the face of the earth celebrities in TV, music and movies. :-) There is a part in the middle where I get a little serious about some of our dead celebrities but apart from that, the whole video is a "tongue in cheek" comedic parody. This is the second longest video I have created to date!

This parody replaces the emphasis on troops to those stars of television, music and movies who are either dead or whose careers are dead or have just gone missing. You have heard of VH1's coverage of "Where Are They Now" so here is The Guild Productions version of it which I guess you could call.. "Where Have You Gone?" :-) The coverage spans from the 70's to today's stars so some you might know, others you might not know and even others still you might say.. "Oh yeah, I remember him/her!" All the material is tied together neatly to create a story and cover as wide an audience as possible so you should know at least SOME people in this video! No harm or trouble is intended, this video is a parody and done in fun and does not mean any disrespect for "real" troops or veterans alive or dead.

The original "Remember Me" was done by Lizzie Palmer and can be viewed here..

There are slight differences in the text and messages throughout the video but it uses the same song and replaces the troop theme with a "star" theme. Have fun and enjoy the flood of memories that will come back from your TV and movie viewing and music listening past and have an eye out for these people today still being shown in syndication or even some clips here on YouTube! Comments, criticisms, views and links are welcome! Spread the word!

  • Most of the stars in this video are washed up has beens.. ONCE were big until their careers died and if they came back, it is via reality shows for the most part. Some have staged a comeback though since I originally made this video.

  • No offense but you are fucking retarded.

  • liked the video reminds me of a lot of shows I once watched and laughed about. Don't listen to the negative I got the point and if your video wasn't good so many people wouldn't have already watched. These actors worked hard and they got paid some more than others it is sad that in the end we leave them hanging.
